What we collect and why

Without an account, your progress and settings stay in your browser and never reach us.
Who processes it

Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account data, progress and uploaded books are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. You can delete a book and its progress yourself under Your books. Analytics data is deleted automatically after the retention period set in Google Analytics (at most 14 months).
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use. You can withdraw consent to Analytics at any time in Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. To use these rights, or to delete your account, write to contact@typetranslate.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children
TypeTranslate is not meant for children under 16 to use with an account without a parent's permission.

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes too, and we'll tell you in the app about important changes.
